Technical Overview

The PerfectAir sensor monitors the air while you cook. It automatically selects the correct power level to capture steam and odours, and keep noise to a minimum. When you’ve finished cooking, the fan continues to run until the kitchen air is fresh and clear. That way, you can focus your attention on cooking and let your hood do the rest.

The quieter your hood, the more you can focus on preparing your meals, or enjoying your kitchen conversations. That’s why our especially silent feature keeps noise levels to a minimum. It’s perfect for eat-in kitchens and open-plan areas – you'll hardly even know the hood is working.

The safer, easier way to clean your hood.

To achieve a perfectly clean kitchen, you occasionally need to clean your hood. The interior design of Bosch hoods are optimised for easy and safe cleaning: there are no sharp edges and corners, no visible cables and no screws.

Your extractor hood just got a whole lot quieter: the EcoSilence Drive™ uses strong permanent magnets, with almost no power loss due to friction. That means it’s not only efficient, but quiet and long-lasting too. Save energy while keeping the peace in your kitchen.

Operate your hood the way you operate your hob: With the new DirectSelect control, you can set the desired power level and control such functions as the PerfectAir sensor, after-running, and lighting level directly. You can also read the filter saturation display so that you always know when the filter needs cleaning. With DirectSelect, not only can you control your hood with the simple touch of a button but your hood’s appearance perfectly matches that of hobs with DirectSelect control.

The optimum air volume for kitchens of all sizes

No matter whether you have an open-plan kitchen and living-room or a small, closed-off kitchen. We offer the optimum air volume for kitchens of all sizes. Air should be exchanged 6 to 12 times an hour to ensure a consistently pleasant ambience. To do so, the air delivery volume or power of the cooker hood must be appropriate to the room volume.

Ducted and recirculation hoods require metal grease filters to filter grease and other solid particles out of the extracted air. To keep these filters operating at maximum efficiency, clean them about once a month either by hand or in the dishwasher.
